Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons
Don't you just LOVE Pete the Cat books. My little ones love the stories and the songs.
I have pre-ordered my copy of the newest book so I thought I would get ready and make some activities to go with the book. I made this craft activity of Pete, as well as a book review and graphing activity.
These activities are available from my TPT store HERE

Where is the Rain? Emergent Reader.
Your little ones cut out the pictures and paste them on the correct page of the reader. On the last page, they draw a picture of themselves in the rain.
This is available for free on TPT HERE
If you like my work, I would appreciate some feedback.
My Flip Book Activities are also available on TPT.

Insect or Not? Freebie
We are on our end of term break and I have no classroom stuff to post so I have two worksheets for you to add to your insect unit.
This is a sorting activity. Your little ones need to cut out the pictures and paste them into the correct box: insect or not an insect.
This worksheet reinforces your little ones' knowledge about insects.
These worksheets are available for free at my TPT store HERE

Sight Word Flip Books
At the beginning of Kindergarten, I make these flip books which reinforces the basic sight words that early readers need to know. The Flip Books have simple sentences with repetitive structures.
I give the little ones six more picture pages to cut out. Once they are cut out I staple the pages together to make their flip book.
The little ones flip each page for a word change. Each word change is supported with a picture.
The children have to trace the sight word that we are focusing on and then practice reading their book.
Once they have read their book, they complete a worksheet using their Flip Book to further practice the sight word.
I have just listed my Sight Word Flip Books and Writing Activities on TPT HERE
